It's curious how you neglected to mention that the Phillipine violence happened in a Muslim-controlled province. Funny how every place they control turns into a total shit-hole, isn't it?

Leviticus 19:28: "Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.”

Why do they ignore this but not other parts of the Bible while still saying they are Biblically-based?

Religionists are unpredictable and inconsistent. And irritating....

If that Mill Creek tattoo story doesn't prove, once and for all, that tattooing has jumped the shark, nothing will. What started as a ironic statement by hipsters has now come full circle back to it's low-class roots. It's like subscribing to AOL, or shopping at Wal-Mart.

I know that makes me sound like a snob, but I am a snob, so I guess I should own it. It's easy to be a snob these days, seeing as just about everything in popular culture is trashy.

Or maybe I'm just grumpy: It's Thanksgiving week, and I'm up to my bustle in table linens and gravy boats. I don't understand this masochistic urge in me to drag out the finger bowls and OD on silver polish, but like a lemming, I annually rush to the cliff called Thanksgiving, and hurl myself off with gusto.

The name article is depressing and refuses to look hard at the issue.

"comfort zone"
"not bigoted"
"off-putting"
"whether you like it or not"

Just say what it is - institutionalized racism.

It should be noted that the iPhone worm only works on jail-broken phones. So if you hack your phone yourself, it leaves it vulnerable to other hackers. Caveat h4X0r.

If we get enough kangaroos, we can solve the pit bull problem once and for all!
