Posted by on Tue, Nov 24, 2009 at 5:28 PM

There will be a National Tea Party Convention in February, and TPM reports that Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin will be co-headlining. This can only raise the political discourse.

"Tea Party" convention? Do the teabaggers think the colonists threw Liptop readymade bags overboard?

If by "raise the political discourse" you mean make a mockery of it, then you are correct.

The only good tea bagger is one that has enlisted and is serving a second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

All the rest are cowards. And unpatriotic.

Can we get Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck on the ballot in all 50 states under a 3rd party? Do we need their permission? That's one way to ensure a permanent democratic president.

Bachmann AND Palin are co-hosting? I'd kill to get tickets to a freak show like that!

I hear at intermission they're both going to bite the heads off of live bats.

Yes, that's it, it's always tea-time, and we've no time to wash the things between whiles.

@5: no kidding! The two of them on stage together is pure comedy gold. No comic duo in history could hold a candle to that. Please let them run together iin 2012.

Because you would probably enjoy this, @9. Most terrifying Halloween costume ever, as imagined by Tom Tomorrow.

Who wants to bet they're going to form a new party and announce it at their convention? Sarah's going to run for president on the Tea Party ticket in 2012. Only the craziest of the crazy will join. The regular right-wing assholes will pass the new GOP purity test and that will leave half of America's "conservatives" with no party.
