In the ongoing saga of what's going on with Pioneer Square (continue the conversation about the impact of Elliott Bay's move up the hill at Paul Constant's story here), let's consider the lowly alley.

To do just that, a local nonprofit called the International Sustainability Institute is hosting semi-monthly "alley parties." The most recent, during December's Artwalk, yielded this art installation—still up—by architects Christopher Ezzell and Matt Hutchins and filmmaker Shahreyar Ataie.
