From CNN:

"The good news is that Americans remain optimistic, with 58 percent forecasting that the economy will be in good shape a year from now," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Optimism is highest in big cities and lowest in rural areas."
We must never lose sight of this fact: The reason why we do not have the public option in the current health care reform bill is because the dodos in the rural areas are overrepresented in the upper house of the United States Congress. It's nothing but astonishing that a state like a Alaska is represented by the same number of senators as the state with the third largest economy in the world, California. Absolutely astonishing.
