When I went to Hooters with Lindy, I did not enjoy the buffalo wings at all. In fact, the buffalo wings were so bad that upon eating them, I immediately started craving buffalo wings. For whatever reason, that buffalo wing craving was not sated over the holidays; it's harder to get good wings in Seattle than you may first think.

Finally, I realized that I had to make the buffalo wings my own goddamned self. So last night, I tried this Alton Brown recipe for buffalo wings. I'm usually my own harshest critic when it comes to my cooking, but I have to tell you that these were the best buffalo wings I've ever had in my life. They were crisp, exactly as spicy as I wanted them to be, and juicy. If you're having a Super Bowl party next month, you should think about making these.

I've never used an Alton Brown recipe before, but based on the simplicity of the recipe and how well they turned out, I think I might have to pick up some of his cookbooks.
