Sarah Palin gave a speech to the tea party convention last night...

...and she had some crib notes on her hand: "Energy," "Budget Cuts," "Tax," "Lift American Spirits." Those are, it turned out, Palin's priorities should she decide to run for president—and it seems pretty clear that she is running for president—and she had to write them on her hand. Andrew Sullivan picked apart Palin's speech as the venom dripped from her mouth last night and you can read his take here, here, and here. It makes for pretty depressing/terrifying reading.
