Up at Third Place Books, Debra Daniels-Zeller reads from her new cookbook in about a half an hour. The Northwest Vegetarian Cookbook: 200 Recipes That Celebrate the Flavors of Oregon and Washington is about cooking Northwest food that is vegetarian. Like salmon!

And at Elliott Bay Book Company, Sheila Kelly will read from Treadwell Gold: An Alaska Saga of Riches and Ruin. This is a story told by the sons and daughters of miners.
