ST:

An 18-year-old woman was killed after being struck by an Amtrak train near Titlow Beach on Sunday evening, the Tacoma News Tribune reported. A man was also hit and injured.
According to the newspaper, the accident happened just after 6:30 p.m. at the end of Sixth Avenue, north of Steamer's Seafood Cafe.
It's reported elsewhere that the woman was hit while attempting to take a picture of the train. Her death, which delayed the train for 3 hours, happened exactly a week after a Puyallup teen was killed by an Amtrak train.
