There's so much more on this page and you should read it all. To answer your question, Mr. Hickey: I do not know what this book is, but it does read like very, very bad Stephen King. (I will never forgive nor forget Lisey's Story and the battle with the "bad-gunky.") I wonder if maybe it's just the single page, created as a hoax?
UPDATE: Yup! It's from here. Maybe Mr. Zdarsky should hold a contest to write other random pages from this book?
