Even though everyone started selling the book late last week, today is the official publication date of David Foster Wallace's unfinished novel, The Pale King. (You can read my review of the book—if you want to call it a review—in the books section this week.) To celebrate The Pale King's publication, MobyLives posted a video of outtakes from a 2003 interview with David Foster Wallace. These candid moments make him out to be intelligent, polite, self-aware, and humble. It's a nice, human look at a man who's halfway to literary sainthood:
