BBC:

Gunmen have stormed the British Council office in the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least 12 people and taking over the compound for hours.

A suicide car bomb destroyed the compound wall and a number of heavily armed men forced their way inside.

David Cameron calls it a "cowardly attack." How long do elected leaders think calling a non-cowardly attack "cowardly" is going to fool people? How's that PR working out? Fundamentalists are loons, yes, but dying for something you believe in is patently not cowardly. The fact of this attack being prompted by an anniversary is pretty chilling, considering the 10th anniversary we've got coming up in the United States next month.
