Seattle will be assimilated:

The church is rolling out a massive advertising campaign in the city that aims to help people understand the Mormon faith. Starting Monday, you might notice “I’m a Mormon” ads on television, sides of buses and online.

(That’s right, “I’m a Mormon.” Not “I’m a PC.”) The purpose of the campaign is to rid non-Mormons of misconceptions, according to the church.

“The purpose of the campaign is to make it easy for people to learn about the faith and get to know Mormons personally,” a church spokeswoman wrote in an email to seattlepi.com.

They want to rid us of misconceptions, eh? I'll buy that they are Christians (their version isn't much nuttier than the others) and I'll buy that they're not all polygamists. But Mormons are members of a bigot empire. That's not a misconception.
