Watanabe pops up here and there all over the city, but he hasn't headlined a show in two years. His installations are interactive, game-like sculptures that are always darkly comical. Right now at Cornish, he's set up what looks like a "thermostat" on the wall. But it's connected to a pair of speakers that enact a shootout across the gallery every half hour or so. The "thermostat" tallies the dead. You may be among them.
