The man at the Occupy Seattle protest on Saturday who allegedly pointed his squirt gun at a Seattle cop and, when he was being apprehended, then allegedly squirted a cop with water, has been charged on three gross misdemeanor counts. According to documents filed by the Seattle City Attorney's office, Juston Thompson is charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer, fourth-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

The reckless endangerment charge was not originally recommended in the police report, but was apparently tacked on in the city attorney's office. Prosecutors allege Thompson was "recklessly engaging in conduct which created a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury to another person."

The charges are each punishable by up to a year in jail and a $5,000 fine. Thompson is currently out on bail.
