BBC reports that classified-materials-publishing, crazy-hair-having Julian Assange is now focusing on raising money over everything else. He says the financial blockade imposed by Bank of America, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and Western Union—which is why Wikileaks is struggling so hard to raise money—is "arbitrary and unlawful." It's pretty rich hearing Assange accuse other people of being "arbitrary and unlawful," even though there's a lot to be said for what Wikileaks has done.

Then again, what has Wikileaks done that it could have done without Bradley Manning? You can't read about Julian Assange—reportedly inviting Brad and Angelina to his birthday this past July and instructing guests where to land their helicopters—and not shudder at how he has profited (politically and, by extension, financially) from lonely, naive, transgender Bradley Manning, whom no amount of fundraising could ever save.
