"Agree with some of the points" only means the banking sector is trying to adapt to the new climate (post-neoliberal—meaning, after the mathematics and doctrines of supply-side economics have been denaturalized, lost legitimacy). It wants to work with certain elements and expunge others. What is expunged will be what really matters, and what is kept will be superficial. This is another way of converting a limit into a barrier. A limit is the end; a barrier is an obstacle, something you can climb over and continue as before.
