Last Tuesday, November 15, a man driving a white Mustang pulled up to a house in White Center toting an aluminum bat. When the man rang the doorbell of a home on the 8400 block of 7th Avenue SW at 4:00 a.m., surprisingly, one of the residents answered. According to a police report, the baseball bat-toting Mustang driver and the resident had a brief conversation, during which the resident learned that the man wanted to speak with one of his roommates. Obligingly, he pointed the way to a room on the first floor.

After that, according to his testimony in the police report, the resident "heard what he perceived as the bat striking something or someone... He also stated that he heard somebody in the room yell, 'Stop hitting me!'" While the resident believed the voice came from his roommate, he noted that there were likely other people in the room. At 4:00 in the morning.

Moments later, the resident watched as the alleged assailant drove away from his house in his Mustang. The victim left moments after without a word. As of when the police report was filed, police were unable to find either the victim or suspect.
