You don't have to leave the country--just fly across. There's a Nando's in DC not too far from DuPont Circle and, rumor has it, a few more in the 'burbs.

Never heard of them, but Nando's seem to have a lot of great commercials on YouTube.

You don't even have to go all the way into Vancouver, there's one just over the border in White Rock, right off 99. You can be there in under two hours. Closer than driving to Voodoo Doughnut!
