Here's my challenge to you: I dare you, Slog readers, to break $15,000 over the weekend. That means we'll need $2,330 in donations. Big donations, little donations—any amount you feel comfortable giving this holiday season.

Here's a reminder of what you're donating to:

In the last three years, the number of hungry families in Washington State has nearly doubled. In 2008, there were 88,000 hungry homes in this state. Now there are more than 160,000 homes with families who don’t have enough to eat.

It costs only 67 cents to feed a family of three a meal through Northwest Harvest.

Everyone who donates between now and Monday morning will be entered to a $100 gift certificate to iPic/Gold Class Cinema, a fancy schmancy theater in Redmond that serves beer, wine, and food.

To enter, just donate to NW Harvest here (any amount is eligible to win, and if you've donated before, even donating just one more dollar will count as an entry, even if you've already entered for past prizes).
