Just kidding. Occupy Seattle will be voting on a proposal to switch from a democratic "majority takes all voting system (regardless of percentage) to a consensus system," according to the Occupy Seattle website.
Why require a consensus for decisions?
"We cannot allow the dysfunction and divisiveness of the broken system we come from to entrench itself in our movement," the proposal says, "therefor we affirm our commitment to self-representation, personal autonomy, and solidarity as we free ourselves from the tyranny of majority and move to consensus decision making for proposals in General Assembly."
So correct me if I'm wrong here—and the Occupy Seattle Facebook Hate Machine surely will—but this would transfer power from the "tyranny of majority" to the tyranny of a slim minority.
