Just like last Wednesday, today brings an historic vote—this time in the state house, which is expected to pass Washington's gay marriage legislation and send it along to Governor Chris Gregoire for her signature.

I'm stepping into my jacket and tie as we speak—can't get on the house floor without them—and will be down there liveblogging all the yea-ing and nay-ing and pre-vote explaining.

Will the speeches be as revealing as they were last week? Will there be more than four Republicans on the yea side? Will Ken Hutcherson crash the party? I'll let you know.

Meantime, if you're interested in the intricacies of what happens after today's vote: check and check.
