As every Seattleite with functioning eyes and no agoraphobia knows, the opinions of Larry King warrant proclamation on billboards. (See above, and on approximately 40,000 Western Washington streets.)

As The Awl reminds us, Larry King's been a totally reliable tastemaker for decades, as illustrated by the glowing review he wrote for USA Today upon the 1991 release of Ally Sheedy's book of poetry, Yesterday I Saw the Sun:

Ally Sheedy is a wonderful poet. A collection titled Yesterday I Saw the Sun ($14.95) has just been published by Summit Books and is really moving. Ally told me she wrote the poems during various stages of her life since age 12. This is an extraordinary mind at work.

This means that Cavalia is even better than Ally Sheedy's poetry.
