Rick Santorum Gets Upset When You Ask Him About His Beliefs

Posted by on Mon, Mar 19, 2012 at 12:29 PM

Dig Rick Santorum's craaaaazy Boehner tan! A few hours in Puerto Rico really pay off, I guess:

So to be clear: You can't ask Rick Santorum about his beliefs. You can't ask Mitt Romney about why almost all of his beliefs run counter to his previously stated beliefs. You can't ask Ron Paul about all the racist shit he published in his newsletters. You can't ask Newt Gingrich anything. That seems fair, I guess.

I wonder about this "Santorum Stance" Is that a special defensive position if you know there is going to be Santorum?

What do you expect? Their entire movement depends on people feeling victimized and blaming others for their problems, so they themselves must act victimized and blame others for their problems.

@1:

I think the "Santorum Stance" only applies if you're hoping to do it in an airport restroom stall...

I want to say something about his phony shit-eating grin here ... but that's just too much poop humor for me.

Also @6: you win.

Santorum mentions "legitimate religion" at the very end of this clip. I wonder what the differences between a "legitimate religion" and an illegitimate religion are. I would love to hear him answer that.

@8 You don't get to be a legitimate religion until you've lasted for 1000 years. It's clearly stated in the by-laws of the Federated Order of Religions. The Protestants are still getting their application together.

Santorum supporters often say they're voting for him because of his beliefs, so you'd think he'd love to talk about them.

I have a question for Rick Santorum. He seems awfully hung up on sex and contraception. So just how old was he when he lost his virginity and did he use a condom?

Based on his statements and professed beliefs I'm guessing it was in his early 30s when he got married and no he didn't use a condom. Still pissed off that your wife wasn't a virgin on your wedding day Rick? Trying to punish the rest of us now? Dude get over it.

I can answer for him. He's a lowdown, piece of shit, neo-fascist papist.

"... and should continue to be talked about in the context of ..."

So he is saying that you should NOT ask him about this because it is NOT something that needs to be talked about ...
except when HE says it should be discussed
which is NOT when the media is playing "gotcha" with his previously recorded statements.

He's running a campaign where his faith is an IMPORTANT part of who he is and how he'll act as president so you cannot ask him about his faith.

Or his opinion of current issues happening within his church.

Unless he initiates the "discussion" by saying something at one of his stump speeches.
Which you will not be allowed to question during or after.

He got married when his dad traded a mule to his neighbor who had a daughter?

How some dick heads will not be covered by a condom do to some belief its a attack on religious beliefs.

Hannah’s Prayer says much as dose the story of Eli's wicked sons

I'm surprised no-one's asked him how he would feel if his wife were raped and impregnated. Would he still demand she carry the child to term? What if she were raped by a black man? Would he abandon the child to social services if it were a swirl and not if it were vanilla?

I'd love to see him try to maintain his shit-eating grin under that line of scrutiny.

I don't know what room he was in when he recorded the interview, but I love the stash of Readers' Digest Condensed Books on the mantle behind him. Can we say the words "Stage Prop"?

@16 a 'swirl' and not a 'vanilla' implies many many things about santorum he'd probably rather not talk about.

The angry pose is part of the whole schtick: Claim that your beliefs come straight from God and treat any attempt to question your beliefs as an attack on your religion and all its adherents, tantamount to genocide.

@16, not only would his wife proudly carry her burden to term under such circumstances, but he would make sure that she did not submit to any testing that would provide any relevant information about the health of the fetus. Mrs. Frothy's medical care would continue to be limited to whatever the Dr could diagnose while groping under the sheet with his eyes respectfully averted.

If he gets so upset about people asking questions, then - after his failure to become President - he should consider becoming a pastor of a Mars Hill type church. I hear they really don't like people who ask questions.
