B. HUSSEIN FARTBONGO is coming for our gunz! You heard it; he's going to examine laws and stuff; that's liberal commie socialist Kenyan codefor "repeal the second amendment"! Quick, everyone grab your prepaid debit cards and buy all the ammo and assault rifles you can!

I think it's plainly obvious that an act of criminal irresponsibility occurred in the death of Trayvon Martin. He was just a kid, armed only with skittles and iced tea, and he belonged in the neighborhood. Clearly he was the victim of overzealous protectionism and clearly the overzealous volunteer protector who shot him deserves to have his protectionist penis substitute taken away from him for at least a good long period of time.

What really makes me sad, though, is that the right-wing fear mongering legislators that enacted laws that enabled an armed thug to think he was a vigilant protector to go so far overboard will never do a day in lockup over this horrific bullshit.

After being deluged with all the GOP hoopla watching Obama talk is like a breath of fresh air. It's like he's a real person with real emotions.

While I don't always agree with everything he's done, sometimes he just nails it. Obama is the best president we've had in decades.

The message is great and the words are beautiful, but if you want to get to the bottom of what happened, then for god's sake, start by arresting Zimmerman, if not for murder, then at least for manslaughter. I'm amazed that the man isn't in custody yet, if for no other reason than to keep him from leaving the county.

This is why it matters who we elect as our president. I'm for sticking with "smart, capable, and compassionate" as the baseline standard.

@16, if anyone should know what "disgraceful and appalling" looks like, it's Newt Gingrich
