Dan Savage's TV show premieres tonight on MTV at 11 p.m., and (he's not making me say this—I haven't seen the man in days—hi, Dan!) it looks really great—helpful for the youth, hilarious for everyone, and sometimes sweetly, oddly moving. You can watch the trailers over here (the part where he tells one student to STOP WATCHING ROMANTIC COMEDIES is one of the sweetly, oddly moving moments).

Annnnnd, in honor of the inaugural episode, current Stranger editor-in-chief Christopher Frizzelle interviews former Stranger editor-in-chief Dan Savage (whose official title is now Editorial Director/Gay Jesus) in Interview magazine online over here. It starts out:

Of all the people who work at The Stranger, Dan Savage has the best story about Auschwitz.

We'll be live-Slogging the show tonight! See you at 11!
