This news kind of got buried by the Rick Santorum show, but Hillary Clinton has officially approved of the Texts from Hillary Tumblr that has been all over the internet for the last couple weeks. Here she is, posing with the site creators, and she also submitted a text for the site to use.

This doesn't seem like the act of a politician on the verge of retirement to me.

Seems like it could go either way, actually. I mean, look at Gregoire--ever since she's decided she's done, she's been *awesome*. I think accepting you never have to run for anything again could be very, very freeing.

But yeah. Could go either way.

I don't know what it means as far as her future plans, but it's good to see she has a sense of humor about it. I've been loving Texts from Hillary.

Sometimes SLOG has all the sense of humor of the Party Commissariat guffawing at the Great Leader's latest staged "prank" like tying up the shoelaces of Beria and Khrushchev and watching them get up from the conference table and fall after a long review of agricultural policies.
