"Boardwalk Empire" alum Michael Pitt is returning to the bigscreen for the first time in five years, as he's set to topline and produce "You Can't Win," an adaptation of adventurer Jack Black's 1926 autobiographical novel of the same name... Production is skedded to start later this month in Seattle.
The film will be directed by Robinson Devor (who also directed Mudede's Zoo) and was written by Mudede, Devor, and Barry Gifford. The plot, according to Variety, involves a "hobo underworld," "freight hopping," "crime," "addiction," and "human folly." Congrats, Charles, and can't wait to see this.
