I don't care for it. It's got some wild images that would look great on a T-shirt (and I hope they have a good t-shirt this time), but I think there should be more Seattle--or at least PNW--imagery. Not necessarily obvious stuff like the Space Needle, either.

If they play this one-minute (!) trailer before every film, by the fifth screening of SIFF it will feel like five minutes long. Every year I complain about the pre-show trailers and they keep making more and more of them. Ugh.

The just finished Jullien Dubuque Film Festival had a pretty good shout-out before each show. People actually laughed and applauded. Yes it did get a little old after three of four times but the other peoples reactions kept me from tuning it out completely. http://youtu.be/i8sqzUhWJj4
