This is a great song! I wish i could've enjoyed it under even slightly less shitty circumstances. RIP to those who were lost today.

That's a really poignant song considering. A terrible day all the way around.

CITR 101.9 FM's "Folk Oasis" program (in Vancouver) has mentioned today's tragedy. It's on until 10 pm tonight. I've given some YouTube tracks to the program host, so she might play 'em.

I just realized I may have seen these guys (GFB) without knowing who they were at the time. Does anyone know if they've ever performed during the Haunted Georgetown ghost walk? One year when they had a 'haunted house' in the old brewhouse, I saw a small ensemble that included a very good sword swallower sing a song with the refrain that went "I'll see you in your nightmares". Does this ring any bells with anyone?

@MrB- they performed during the afterparty of this year's Haunted Georgetown ghost walk- in the little courtyard outside of The Stables.

My condolences to the surviving members of God's Favorite Beefcake and to the band members that were struck down today, and to everybody who knew them or their music.

Hadn't heard of this group until today...horrible way to discover their music, but now all that can be done is for those who knew them to keep playing their songs.
