Posted by on Wed, Jun 27, 2012 at 1:21 PM

You probably already heard on the tube-nets... this is a big fat hoax. Sad trombone. but Doc Brown arrived this morning. Watch out for the Delorean!

Photoshopped hoax. They traveled 30 years into the future, to 2015. Search YouTube for "Back to the Future, Future Date".

not only that...they didn't even bother to do a GOOD photoshopping. The luminance on today's date is horrifically wrong.

This is a photoshopped screenshot of the test with the dog, the date on the first line was the same as the other two.

Supreme Ruler Of The Universe 8

Oddly, when attending the fantabulous "Rock of Ages" last night, I noted one scene where a DeLorean was parked on the street. Nothing was said of it...period piece (set in 1987).

Even by that time (late 80s) the DeLorean had acquired cult status as a came (1981) and went (1982) car.

That video is from part 2, the screen shot is from part 1. Also, have a look at the months.

We still have a few years for bitchin' high-tops to come back into style? Radical!

If back to the future was set today, they would be going back to 1982. I feel old.

I'd rather have an iPhone than a hoverboard, honestly.

Does that mean I win the future? Oh, no, wait, I'd rather have clean fusion power than iPhones.

I guess that means we have three short years to get that goin', then.

:/

I miss the future with which I grew up in which the biggest problem would be TOO MUCH LEISURE.

What a horrible photoshop. The 2012 isn't even lined up with the display grid! Also, the color and 'glow' are wrong (compare to the 1:21). And the 0 and 2 are wider. And the leg on the J is too short (these are standard 7-cell displays).
