Progress for Washington, a Super PAC run by Laura Ruderman contributor Jeremy Pemble, has reported a second $21,328.38 expenditure, doubling its total spent against Suzan DelBene in the 1st Congressional District race to $42,656.76.
A flyer attributed to the Super PAC and attacking DelBene's business career started appearing in voters' mailboxes last week. The $42,656.76 in reported expenditures is likely enough to print and post between 80,000 and 100,000 mailers.
In other 1st CD news, MoveOn.org announced today that its more than 19,000 members within the district have "voted decisively to endorse Darcy Burner." MoveOn's endorsement should help Burner raise money and mobilize supporters in this five-way Democratic contest.
