Since Goldy's horrible evil awful experiment where he didn't put a stamp (gasp!) on his ballot, I've kept my eye on the King County Elections Ballot Tracker. It's a handy tool that lets you punch in your name and birthday, then shows if your ballot has been delivered, as well as if your signature is legit.

I mailed my ballot a full week before Goldy wasted heaps of taxpayer money by not using a stamp, yet it took only two days for his signature to be verified. Meanwhile, ballot tracker told me that, yes, King County Elections had my ballot, but that they hadn't checked my signature yet. Feeling like Goldy cut in line at the DMV of voting, I got on the phone with a very nice woman at King County Elections. She looked in their internal database, and said that yes, my signature had been verified.

Hooray! She assured me that ballot tracker can be up to two days behind what actually happens at King County Elections. Good to know.

Go vote! You've got another 24-ish hours, so here are the last-minute drop box locations.
