We're coming up on the Least Wonderful Time of the Year yet again:

The Seattle Public Library system will close Monday, Aug. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 2 due to citywide budget cuts. All libraries will be closed for the Labor Day holiday Monday, Sept. 3. Regular Library operations will resume Tuesday, Sept. 4.

So you'll want to start stockpiling books now, because running out of books on Labor Day weekend is a fate worse than death. For a full list of unavailable services—spoiler alert: Just about every library service is unavailable—go visit SPL's closure page.
