The Workings of Ryan's Memory

Posted by on Tue, Sep 4, 2012 at 10:05 AM

Ryan didn't run the marathon in 3 hours. Also, Obama didn't close that plant in Wisconsin. What he did, and why it's like the plant closing, is break promises made during the 2008 race. British papers, however, don't give a damn about Ryan's lies; they just want his sex:

Paul Ryan's [black American] ex-lover spent five months in prison for defrauding her employer out of $77,000 (but did he know this when he went to her wedding in May?)
Ryan's bout of jungle fever happened while in college.

Speaking of VP candidate with issues with the truth:

Biden plagiarized his way through law school (earning himself an F for a course when he turned in 5 pages of someone else’s work as his own), Plagiarized his speeches (stealing from JFK and RFK, Hubert Humphrey and, perhaps most famously, British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock) and told lies about how he happened to plagiarize Kinnock and whopping lies about his educational background: "I went to law school on a full academic scholarship” (he didn’t); he graduated in the top half of his law-school class (he didn’t) and that he had earned three undergraduate degrees, when in fact he had earned one.

@1: You never can deal with the issue in front of you, can you?

It doesn't matter for two reasons. First, Ryan is a republican. Second, Ryan is a republican.

Actually, even if he was a democrat, a communist, or any combination of the above, it shouldn't matter. Do you want to be responsible for everything done by everyone you've ever met? Especially in college? It's not like he's hired his one time college girlfriend to run the campaign.

@1 Until you can account for Cheney's lies about Iraq's WMD, which led us into an unnecessary war and is a large contributor to our national debt, your words are just blather from a idiotic fanatic.

C'mon now, the British press. If politicians avoided the weddings of every ex-lover who'd been convicted of some kind of financial crime, they'd never go to any weddings.

Who cares what his ex-lover did? She isn't running for office. I have plenty of reasons to vote against Romney and Ryan without delving into the behavior of their former squeezes.

Not news. Not interesting. Who cares that Ryan had enough class to go to a friend's wedding, even if she's a criminal? I care about Ryan's inability to criticize President Obama for anything except imaginary stuff like 'Obama's responsible for closing a plant that closed a month before he took office'.
