Grant was standing by the light rail station last night after Bill Clinton's speech. He had a big banner that read "Deport Barack Hussein Obama" and the name of his organization, Young Obama Haters. What's his message for these people walking by him? "Free ride's over. Work or starve. No mercy. Liberals, pack your lunch." But what does all that mean? "Americans are getting lazy," Grant said, because "illegal immigrants are taking their work. Why doesn't [Obama] allow [out of work Americans] to have jobs?"

Grant said he's traveled all around the country on a tour from his home state of Idaho to Washington, Montana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio, West Virginia, Tennessee, the RNC in Tampa, and Virginia. He said he's only gotten arguments from people here in Charlotte and in Michigan. He figures this is a good sign that Obama will lose in November. Is he a Mitt Romney fan? "Anybody but Obama." Why does his sign say he wants to "deport" Barack Obama? Grant said it "seems sketchy" to him that "it took him three years to produce his birth certificate, and then it was was only on the internet."

"Oh! I forgot this," Grant said. He made like he was about to tell a good joke and said, "If they want to have gays in the military, let them have their own branch, and see how long they last." He chuckled to himself. "That's a good one. That would've gone over real well here." I started walking toward the train. Grant called after me, "Hey! Am I an asshole and a half, or what?" He looked pleased with himself. Eh, I said, I've seen worse.
