Eric Logan, the owner of Capitol Hill gaming store Gamma Ray Games, just announced on Kickstarter that the Gamma Ray Lounge, a new hangout spot for gamers, will officially open for business on September 20th. The lounge, which is currently being built out in the old Travelers space in 501 E Pine Street, will have food and beverage service (overwhelming Kickstarter support funded a full bar) and room for about 50 nerds to play their role playing games and board games. According to their site, the hours for the Lounge are as follows:

Tue-Thurs: 2-10pm
Fri: 2pm-1am
Sat: 10am-1am
Sun: 10am-10pm
Mon: Closed

I'm super-excited for this.
