You can tell that beneath his meticulously cultivated character, Stephen Colbert is absolutely livid at these Republicans:

What makes you think Colbert was absolutely livid? Was it the extra added elbow action with the pencil pantomime?

His entire show last night was awesome. It may have been on par with his Press Club stint for W. He called for Trump to "suck his balls", I think he called someone a shit-head and tore up these rape apologist cum-stain republicans. I've never seen him cuss so much on his show. It was a thing of beauty!
