This Election Affects the Old and the Young

Posted by on Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 2:20 PM

Here's David Axelrod vowing to "shave off my mustache of 40 years*" live on MSNBC if the Obama campaign loses Minnesota, Michigan, or Pennsylvania:

Here's a video of a girl who has had too much of this election:

* I wish I had a mustache to bet on things, but we long ago established that I'm not much of a man at all. Also, Mustache of Forty Years is a good band name.

Poor child. And no matter how many years go by, it never gets any easier.

When I was at that age during the 80's I didn't pay any attention to elections. Heck I didn't care about the US politics. I just wanted to play outside. Yes, I did care about things happening around the world. But not to the point of crying.

Maybe she too just wants to play outside but because (and I'm just making an assumption. I don't know the whole story) the parent/s have the news on all the time and keep talking about the election and so on which is making the little girl truly tied of hearing about the election.

I'm probably wrong and if I am I do apologize.

I don't have the heart to tell that little girl that what happens before the election is the least of her worries...
