At some point today, in fact, AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE, you should go to the newly redesigned/reopened Pettirosso on Capitol Hill and get their pumpkin pie topped with a brulee marshmallow.

IT IS DELICIOUS. The marshmallow is fluffy and sticky, and the yummy pumpkin filling sits on top of a disc of crust that is more sweet and crumbly like a cookie than salty and flakey like a pie crust.

It's big enough to share, especially if you eat lunch first, but not so big that you feel like a gluttonous monster if you choose to devour the entire thing yourself. Go!
