Slog Humbly Declares Victory

Posted by on Mon, Dec 3, 2012 at 11:05 AM

Suck it, Capitol Hill Seattle blog. Suck it hard!!! The cute puppy war is over. Slog has won. You even tried posting about cats—which is totally gay—because your second-rate dogs were no match for Slog.

Now, Slog, now that you've won, please stop sending your puppy photos. There are too many to post them all. And they're all cute. But there's no sense in posting more, kicking a dead Capitol Hill Seattle blog, and rubbing their noses in the stink of defeat.

Nah, let's rub their face in it:

Tallulah is just a-layin' on the counter at Mud Bay on Capitol Hill. Mathew reports that she's an eight week old Labrador retriever. Okay, that's it. Seriously this time. We shall never speak of puppies again.

Fer chrissakes!!! I expected something incredible from that NASA Rover Team --- not some ronnie rover f**kwit crap like "We found complex chemicals on Mars" ---- duuuuhhhh, no crapola, sonny, like did ya ever study geochemistry in school?

You expect to find complex chemicals on all planets, douchey!!!!!!

Now the REAL NEWS FLASH!!!!!!

Naomi Wolfe will be at Seattle's Town Hall on Tuesday evening, but I'm far too civilized to mention the subject she'll be discussing, (Pssst, it's what every heterosexual guy thinks about, when he's not fantasizing about the NASA Rovert Team's upcoming announcements!).

How can a puppy possibly sleep when surrounded by so many treats?

Because the puppy is dreaming about Pong, as we all should be. . . .

Slog has never done anything humbly.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

@5 Total victory is a dish best served hot, with a side of false modesty.

Most adorable pup/pup name yet. Worried about her on that high(?) counter - and the health department might have something to say about a puppy on a counter where food is sold. Wouldn't bother me. She looks as clean as they come (for now!). Labs (and particularly yellow labs for some reason) and goldens are as sweet as they come. But you'd never know if you haven't had one before, that you're going to need and an industrial vacuum cleaner. I guess shedding wasn't a big concern because these dogs were made to spend a lot of time outdoors and in the water (which most of them LOVE!!!). They're wonderful companion animals, too, but if they spend most of their day indoors, you'll definitely need a Dyson. Seriously, two or three days and it'll look like it snowed. But they are sooooo worth it.

Sleep good, little girl.

@12 Wouldn't that be "The Cat Gatsby?"
