Re: The Internet Feels Like a Ghost Town

Something to look forward to: Joe Walsh, recently defeated asshat tea-bag one-term Rep from Illinois, plans to run against Dick Durbin. Hah! That will be a blast.
Your just summed up how pathetic you all are pretty well. The elections WERE the high point of your boring lives. Sad.
Nobody cares about the midterms. That's why Republicans win them.
One more reason why the Web may not feel as alive as it used to:…

"We get bullshit turf battles like Tumblr not being able to find your Twitter friends or Facebook not letting Instagram photos show up on Twitter because of giant companies pursuing their agendas instead of collaborating in a way that would serve users. And we get a generation of entrepreneurs encouraged to make more narrow-minded, web-hostile products like these because it continues to make a small number of wealthy people even more wealthy, instead of letting lots of people build innovative new opportunities for themselves on top of the web itself."
It's called Christmas.

We're all busy going to parties.
Hopefully some big news will break today so we'll have something to talk about and this ennui will be blown away.
Look at this post and then the one after. JINX!
