A Whole Movie About Bad Writing

Posted by on Fri, Jan 4, 2013 at 8:04 AM

Vernon Lott's documentary Bad Writing is available for free streaming all month long. It's about good writing, and bad writing, and being embarrassed by your own writing, and it features interviews with some very not-bad writers including Margaret Atwood, David Sedaris, and George Saunders. What else are you going to do this morning? Work? Pshaw!

A free doc? I'm so in.

The little seg filmed in Powell's made me a little misty. I miss the Pacific NW so very much. Someone there please kiss the ground for me. One day....one day....I'm coming home.

I guess I'll be the first person to comment on the actual movie. It was good.

Making us click a button to start the video? For shame! This extra effort wastes our time! I shake my head at thee!
