Citizen University describes itself as "the nation’s most vital conference on the art of great citizenship." The annual event occurs this year on March 23 at Seattle Center, which will host "a day of learning, inspiration, and action with the country’s most creative leaders, change-makers, organizers, and culture shapers."

The just-announced luminary of this year's conference: Tony Kushner, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright behind Angels in America (and freshly Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Lincoln), who'll join educator Howard Gardner as a featured guest.
