The Seattle Home Show is happening through this Sunday, February 24, at CenturyLink Exhibition Center. Three things pot people might like to know:

  1. There is tons of free candy down here. Every other booth is marketing to stoners with a bowl of miniature-sized goodies.

  2. Contractors are down with pot. If you need anything for a cannabis grow—electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry—local companies seem eager to earn your business. Many of them admitted to me to having recent experience on such jobs.

  3. Take home a medical-marijuana grow room. I was tickled to find one entrepreneur, Richard Montoure from Good to Grow, hawking grow tents with all the necessary components to get your ganja going. He says his reception by Home Show attendees has been great. Here's one of his ready-to-go grow rooms:

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online or at the door. Getting high first is recommended.
