I'm beginning to realize that the Beacon Hill Library is not only ugly but is actually getting uglier. It has gotten so bad that when ever pass it, to avoid unbalancing my spirits, to prevent my thoughts from slipping into the gloom that this kind of architecture was built for, I have to look across the street and fix as much attention as possible on the vivid mural on the Beacon Hill branch of Washington Federal.
