Looking for the kind of unconditional love that can only come from a loyal pet, but too cheap to pay the normal adoption fee? Has Regional Animal Services of King County got a deal for you:

The "Summer of Love" gets underway this weekend, when Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) will waive pet adoption fees for the first 100 customers as part of the ASPCA/Rachael Ray $100K Challenge.

... This special offer is only good for the first 100 customers through the door of the King County Pet Adoption Center this weekend. If one of these potential adopters doesn't find a pet, RASKC will issue a rain check good through the end of the $100K Challenge on August 31. All adoptions are subject to the normal review and approval process, and there is a limit of one rain check per household.

"Adopting a pet from us is always a great value, and during our 'Free Love Weekend,' it's even better," said Dr. Mueller. "As always, all cats and dogs adopted from RASKC are spayed or neutered, microchipped for identification, have received a veterinary exam, and are up to date on vaccinations."

Seriously, it's a great deal. So if you're looking to add a dog or cat to your family, head on down to the Pet Adoption Center this weekend, at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
