This afternoon an Oakland, CA news station claimed to know the names of the four pilots onboard Asiana flight 214, which crashed last Saturday. Apparently they were too caught up in the flurry of reporting the news to actually stop and look at what they were saying. Here, just watch:

According to TVSpy, the station has since apologized, and they say the names they received were in fact confirmed by a National Transportation Safety Board official. But still. Seriously? Not one person—in getting the names, putting them on the screen, or reading them out loud—noticed something... off?
