We've been freaking out about peaches lately, and for good reason.

So, what's better than a perfect peach?

A perfect peach that is sliced up and chilled and bathing all peachily in cool, crisp white wine. Here is how to do it—scroll down a bit for the recipe—courtesy of Orangette (courtesy of David Tanis). Obviously, you can halve the recipe if you only want four servings (or one Stranger-staffer-sized portion); I also like to sprinkle on some chopped-up fresh mint before serving, because MINT and PRETTY.
