Well, no, not really. But it's hard not to make that inference after reading New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's interview with New York Magazine:

NY Mag: Then there’s Bill de Blasio, who’s become the Democratic front-runner. He has in some ways been running a class-warfare campaign—

Bloomberg: Class-warfare and racist.

NY Mag: Racist?

Bloomberg: Well, no, no, I mean he’s making an appeal using his family to gain support. I think it’s pretty obvious to anyone watching what he’s been doing.

De Blasio is white and his wife is black. Their teenage son, Dante, has appeared in De Blasio's campaign ads, and their teenage daughter, Chiara, at campaign events. So it's pretty obvious what Bloomberg is hinting at: that it's somehow racist (though, no, not really) for a politician to publicly display his mixed-racist family.

Which of course makes Barack Obama—our nation's first half-white president—the most racist politician of all.
