Not content to have you see the Muppet Movie yesterday, Paul Constant has yet another suggestion for you, today. Honestly, I’m beginning to think he’s just trying to run everyone’s lives with all these suggestions, but I don’t say anything. It’s a reading at the Central Library downtown. Check it out.

Other recommended readings: Douglas Stone’s at Town Hall. Stone wrote a book about Einstein and quantum mechanics. Breadline Poetry is happening tonight at Vermillion, which is sort of a music and spoken word night, and there’s a reading from UW creative writing MFA students at Hugo House.

A couple recommended music things today: Cloud Control which is dreamier and more psychedelic (“early Of Montreal”) at Barboza, and the “lof-fi anthems” of The Thermals at Neumos.

Do you want to drink? Drink. There is a winter rye tasting at The Barrel Thief in Fremont. You have plenty of time to finish up whatever you're working on and then head over there. Or just head over there. This is sold out, tips SLOG reader, Geocrackr. Alternate recommendation: drink rye at home. The sun’s coming out now, and it's going to be out for a couple days.
